Law Students’ Legal Advice Program

At clinics throughout the Lower Mainland, UBC law students provide free legal advice and representation to people who cannot afford a lawyer.  Advice and representation is limited to specific areas of the law.  LSLAP publishes a comprehensive legal advice manual on its website.  Call 604-822-5791.

Salvation Army BC Pro Bono Program

Operates clinics throughout BC where lawyers provide free legal assistance in all areas of the law to people who cannot afford a lawyer and do not qualify for legal aid.  Lawyers do not represent clients in court, but do provide ongoing legal advice and help clients prepare for court.  Call 604-694-6647.

University of Victoria law students provide advice and assistance to clients who cannot afford a lawyer.  Free legal representation for those persons who meet eligibility requirements.  Law students also operate a human rights clinic.  Call 250-385-1221.
